Modeling and computational approaches have become indispensable tools in all natural sciences. M3ODEL will integrate research on multiscale modeling in different areas at JGU Mainz across the traditional boundaries of departments and institutes. We are dedicated to creating a multidisciplinary environment in which researchers from atmospheric science, biology, chemistry, geoscience, and physics together with mathematics and computer science not only share but transfer ideas and approaches.
